Now realize, this was their mistake, but you need to understand what their thinking was at the time. If you have been the one who had an affair, you will need to have lots of patience because your partner is angry and needs to let it all out. Listen and answer any questions they may have. You will need to understand that he or she is going to have a very difficult time, especially at first, in dealing with any situation which may cause suspicion. Always try to be on time or where you say you will be so you do not give any reason for there to be any suspicion.

Rebuilding trust after an infidelity can be a long and difficult road to success, but it can also be so rewarding to know that you have overcome one of the most challenging obstacles.
