All relationships pass through their difficult times.  After a long struggle trying to keep things in place, you are wondering “Is your relationship worth saving?”  You have taken relationship counseling to help you try to start again with the person you have loved but the intimacy problems you had are still there.  You have sought assistance on how you should go about dating but al the good suggestions have not solved any of the problems. 

You go struggling on but the point arrives when you have to ask yourself “Is your relationship worth saving?   You need to look at things as they are when you are considering separating or divorcing.  Professional help is often necessary.  It takes a lot of time and energy to save a relationship and all your efforts will be fruitless if the relationship in reality does not exist.

List down all the people you have pleasure spending time with and pose the question of whether or not your partner has a place on the list. Can you enjoy each other’s company?

Can you remember the last time you went out together and really had a great time; can you still do so?  Are you just content being together?    In a good relationship the couple is not just happy together but they are happy that the other person is there

You must also consider if you feel you are being understood, when thinking about saving the relationship.  Are you listening to your partner and do you believe they are listening to you and understanding you?   You have to really think about it.

It is important that you can go to your relationship when you seek comfort, after traversing a difficult period.  Do you have to be constantly comforted about your relationship?  You have a serious problem when you are looking elsewhere to be comforted.

Do you and your partner trust each other?  Where doubts exist about infidelity, they must be tackled.  You both may need some serious counseling if there are problems in this area.

When deciding “Is your relationship worth saving”, a number of things need to be thought over and the decision is one of heavy consequences.  You have to face up to finding answers to a number of difficult questions when considering “Is your relationship worth saving?”
